My initial goals for F2P OSRS, and where I stand so far (green = achieved; red = not):
Attack: 40 (wield rune)
Strength: N/A
Defence: 40 (wear rune)
Ranged: 40 (wear green d'hide)
Prayer: 45 (Mystic Might)
Magic: 85 (Tele Block)
Runecraft: 20 (body runes); 99 (10 air runes per rune essence)
Hitpoints: N/A
Crafting: 70 (diamond amulet)
Mining: 85 (runite ore)
Smithing: 85 (smelt runite bars); 99 (smith rune platebodies)
Fishing: 50 (swordfish)
Cooking: 55 (anchovy pizza)
Firemaking: 60 (yew logs)
Woodcutting: 60 (yew trees)
Quest points: 39 (all F2P quests)
Access all guilds:
Champions': 32 quest points
Cooks': 32 cooking
Crafting: 40 crafting

Collect all random event outfits:
Drill Demon: camo helmet, top, bottoms

I still need to compile a list of these and determine which I'm missing....
Collect all holiday items/emotes as they come (so far I've got the recent Easter stuff)....
In short, my initial goal is to "unlock" all of F2P. And there's plenty to do!
This account is years old, so Hans doesn't tell me when I started F2P OSRS, but my oldest screenshots are from March 11, showing me getting a bunch of level 2s, so that's when I started training. Obviously I should be a lot further along, a month later, but I'm a big XP-waster, procrastinator and slacker. Anyway, onwards!

I'm gonna use my thread to whine about something, where I won't annoy anyone who doesn't wanna hear it... I'm feeling salty about the updated rank req's. When I got my 2nd banana, the 3rd was 750, so that's what I started working toward. I get 750, only to learn that the goalpost was shifted to 800... I have to wonder, were there any Sergeants who got their 3rd banana when it was 750, but didn't yet have 800 when it was changed? And were they stripped of a banana and busted back down to Corporal? If not then they were grandfathered in to the rank req's as they existed when the player started, and rightly so, just like everyone should be. For real tho it isn't even a big deal, it's a few pixels next to my name. I don't care if I'm stripped of all rank. It's just the principle of it. It's shady, like you're running a marathon but the guys holding the finish-line tape keep running ahead of you so you can never break it.  |
