We hosted a neat Clan Event on Friday!
It was a lot of fun and started off with a hilarious string of events.
The idea was Runescape Undercover Boss:
We have a lovely "Noob" (Thank you Dim), asking for items or advice
and a mob of bystanders looking out watching to see who will help the poor player.
Those who do are greatly rewarded with kind words, and the best part - cold, hard cash.
Special thanks again to Dim, who both volunteered to be our undercover noob and also for helped fund the event!
Anyways, here's how it went:
We started off meeting in Varrock East bank. Pretty mundane so far, just me and Dim harassing the local guards.
Then it happened.
We ran into a house party just east of the rune shop and hilarity ensued.
F2P Skiller joined up with us and so did Crazy Cicero.
We started up a train and headed to the bar.
A few drinks and a bar fight later, we headed upstairs
Tensions rise as we gather around the balcony and the house party host grieves about his breakup. (He was okay)
This progressed into a dance party as he found out that he was male pregnant.
The party died down and it was time to actually begin the event. We headed for Varrock West and began begging in the bank.
A lovely man, still on his trade limit, went all the way to the general store to sell his pickaxe so Dim could buy it. I was amazed!
He was thoroughly rewarded.
A world hop and a tactic change later, another nice fellow donated 300 iron arrows without a question when Dim asked for some ranged equipment.
He deserved it.
Here's our noob in full noob gear. Very convincing.
We found this guy in the Lumbridge Cow Fields.
After inquiring about Rune Essence, he went into detail on how Dim could complete Rune Mysteries and pointed her in the right direction.
It's not always about giving things away! Advice was also valued highly. This way, people who were still on their trade limits could be rewarded.
Last one:
We headed to the chicken pits and poor Dim asked how she could get started on fishing.
This man, wttkspawn, told Dim where you can buy a fishing net after hearing that hers was lost.
That was kind enough for me.
That's not all: another player told Dim about the fishing spots she could visit to help her get her first levels.
F2P Skiller helped him out and gave him a nice start up fund.
There was also another person who was rewarded by F2P, but I missed the whole thing so I haven't got any details.
But it wasn't easy:
We found ourselves struggling to get any type of response when asking for help in other areas and other worlds.
It was actually quite painful watching a crowd of 10 ignore our poor noob's questions.
Anyways, I had a lot of fun and it wasn't a total flop, which was nice. Thanks for coming!

I can barely see it, but I assure you that it says "F2P". The plan was to burn down the Grand Exchange, but at the end of it we only have 2 people other than myself, so we settled for this.
All in all, it was great fun. Hope to see you at the next event
